Florals and Beadwork
The Metis gained a such a large reputation for their specific style of beadwork that to some, they were known as
“The Flower Beadwork People”.
Using both beads & embroidery, the Metis People created beautiful works of art based on the life and connectedness that the natural world offers us. Pieces that tell a story, from seed to fruit to periods of rest. Often designs are asymmetrical, but still balanced.
With the same handcrafted dedication, authenticity, and teachings from our ancestors 200+ years ago, we will work with you to create your own meaningful story to share.
